We are a family owned and operated electrical contracting business that has been working in the valley for almost 30 years.
We specialize in residential remodeling- from adding a few outlets to ground up projects- but we don’t stop there. We can do just about any electrical job you have around the home, including helping you figure out exactly what it is you need!
Our company also has several crews committed to commercial work. Their job is to handle small tenant improvements and service work for businesses, as well as lighting maintenance for both interior and exterior lighting systems.
There is no job too small, and we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and personal service. We are a Better Business member and are licensed, bonded and insured.

Another Fantastic job from Jay and Shane. Removed an old pool timer and rerouted the power to the wall out of the way of the equipment. I have never worked with a better electrical company than Econolight.

Shane came and did a warranty replacement and rerouted our light fixture while he was out here too! We live way out in the middle of nowhere and so I appreciated him taking the time to come all the way out and doing such a great job! He was efficient and professional and I will absolutely use them for all my electrical needs moving forward.

Brian and Jay recently did several projects we needed done for our classic mid-century home. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The entire Econolight team was incredibly professional and courteous. They responded quickly to questions and accommodated our schedule. Their also suggested more efficient and cost-effective solutions for my project than what I originally had in mind which made the end result much better for us.
One aspect that truly impressed me was the quality of their workmanship. The conduit work was neat and tidy, and their attention to detail was impeccable. It was clear that they take pride in their work, and it showed in the final product.

I called at 9am and Brian quickly came out to give me a quote at 10am (to be fair I live right down the street from their office).
He was helpful and explained what he thinks might be wrong and talked through what his technicians would do and gave me a quote based on different options.
The technicians came out that afternoon and finished the job quicker than Brian quoted me which ended up costing less. They were professional, courteous, and explained everything that happened.
We had 3 problem areas and they finished up in about an hour. Overall, great experience getting everything fixed in one day at a reasonable cost!

Brian and his team have worked at two of our homes for many years.

I hired Econolight to perform the electrical on a whole house remodel. Brian worked closely with me to develop the scope of work. Econolight arrived on the day scheduled with a crew of five to complete the entire rough in work in one day. On arrival, Jay worked with each team member to develop an organized work plan. The crew worked effectively and professionally. They were polite and pleasant. Econolight arrived in fully stocked vans with most materials required for the project. Their scope of work included new circuits to bring kitchen and baths to code, recessed lighting throughout, relocation of outlets as required, improved switching, and ceiling fans in most rooms. At the end of the work they fully cleaned up all work areas. When the time came for trim out they again were on schedule and prepared to complete the project. The Econolight team were respectful of painted and finnished surfaces to protect them from damage. They verified all circuitry and proper operation of all components.
I highly recommend Econolight for any electrial work!

I have used Econolight many times over the past 10 years. Every single time I have had them in my homes I am impressed by their professionalism and care. Most recently we had their electrician Jay at our home to perform an inspection and routine repairs. He took the time to explain to us what was needed and why in easy-to-understand terms. Econolight is the only electrical contractor to use in the Phoenix area, hands-down.

Do not look anywhere else for an electrician. I have utilized Econolight for over 2 years. I had a very complex panel replacement and odd issues throughout my house that required expert qualifications. Econolight far exceeded my expectations. Brian, Jaimee, Shane, Jay, and the entire crew went above and beyond to stay in my corner when they could have easily thrown up their hands due to the moving parts associated with my issues. Instead, they maintained constant communication, were responsive, easy to talk to, and above all, respectful and empathetic humans which was a relief considering how stressful my project was. If you want a company you can unequivocally trust to be in your home, and complete your project the right way, Econolight is second to none.

I did a kitchen remodel that needed a lot of electrical moved and redone. I also wanted to add lighting yo the new space. Brian immediately made me feel comfortable and he made everything easy to understand. He had 2 crews come in to get the job done in one day and the guys were fast and efficient but most of all friendly. They cleaned everything spotless before they left. I highly recommend Econolight for your electrical projects.

Econolight more than met my expectations. When making capital investments in a newly purchased home you need to find quality companies to work with and I wish there were more than five stars to give! Econolight met with me and my contractor to go over each room and what I wanted to do and brought their own suggestions to the table and we planned the project from there. While I didn't need to do everything that was quoted, once the work started for the approved items, the three technicians were in and out in one day and the house looked better than when they started. Their attention to detail was excellent.
And Jay and his 'J' crew explained everything that was being done and answered my questions as the work went along. Because we didn't know some of the switching that was wired prior to installing the recessed lighting, we were able to utilize some of the existing boxes and wiring which allowed my final job cost to come in cheaper and because of their flexibility and ability to explain and clearly communicate, I was able to afford to get more done during this phase of the project. My contractor Toni (The Paint Wagon) highly recommended Econolight and I now see why. Econolight worked hand in hand with my contractor so that she could follow with painting and fixing where the new wiring had to be installed and Econolight was flexible enough and willing to make a second trip to finish the ceiling fan installations once the ceilings are finished and painted. Confidence in hiring contractors can be hit and miss but using the baseball analogy, Econolight is a home run. Also a shout out to their office staff for dealing with my four changes to the original quote and keeping the project on track. Professional, capable and reliable doesn't begin to describe the work Econolight accomplished.

We needed a Tesla charger plug installed ASAP and they came out within 2 days of calling them. They were affordable and fast but best of all, the job looks great. They were awesome from start to finish and we will use them again!

I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent service I received. Mark and James were fast, efficient and problem solved an issue in my older home. They kept me informed every step of the way and exceeded my expectations wiring in one ceiling fan. And they left it clean. I will definitely call them for a few other jobs I need done. I highly recommend Econolight.

Jay and Jace from Econolight did an amazing job at our place. They figured out and fixed some messy work that the previous owners did and installed light fixtures, outlets and light switches. They were very knowledgeable about a variety of issues, efficient with their time and super friendly. Very highly recommended!
